Hi, I’m Bhushan Arekar.
I’m a Freelance 3D Character Artist with over 14 years of experience in digital art, sculpting, and creative design.
Interestingly, my journey didn’t begin in an art studio—it began in engineering.
After earning my engineering degree, I spent two years working as an engineer. While the career offered stability, I realized my true passion had always been art. The more I created, the more certain I became that creativity was the path I wanted to pursue.
So I made one of the biggest decisions of my life.
I left engineering behind and started over in the creative industry.
Over time, I found my passion in 3D and joined the VFX industry as a 3D Modeler. Those experiences helped shape the artist I am today and eventually led me to build a career as a Freelance 3D Character Artist.
Throughout my career, drawing has always been an essential part of my creative process. Whether I’m sketching character ideas, developing concepts, or sculpting 3D models, everything begins with simple drawings. Along the way, I’ve worked with sketchbooks, pencils, markers, digital tablets, sculpting software, and a wide range of creative tools.
Those years of hands-on experience inspired me to create WowExactly.
I created WowExactly to help artists learn new skills, discover creative ideas, and make more confident decisions when choosing art tools and supplies. Every tutorial, guide, and recommendation is shaped by real-world experience—not just research.
